Set in wonderful village of Aveton close to fabulous beaches

Based in Aveton Gifford, Kingsbridge, we have been welcoming guests since 2010. Beaumont Cottage is the perfect holiday get-away, whether you are a couple, group of friends or family wishing to spend time in Devon. The cottage is situated in the lovely village of Aveton Gifford, we have a local shop and post office and a good pub all within walking distance. The cottage is well maintained and decorated to a high standard. There are 2 double bedrooms and 1 single which has bunk beds. There is a family bathroom with a shower and bath. The kitchen is a good size and has a table that seats 6. There is a back door leading off from the kitchen, perfect to use when coming back with wellies, surf boards or sand covered children. Within a few miles drive you have some spectacular beaches, Bigbury on Sea, Batham (arguably one of the best surfing beaches on the south coast!) and Thurlston. The popular towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth are also within easy reach. The picturesque River Avon is a short walk from the cottage, lovely for a stroll and a picnic or great to kayak down.

Situated a 5 minute walk from the River Avon which at low tide you can walk along. 15 minute drive to Bantham and Bigbury beaches. Approx. 10 miles to Salcombe
