One of the famous 'college cottages' built in the 19th century - 1 Cambridge Cottages is a two bedroom cosy cottage in the sleepy village of Nettlestone on the Isle of Wight. The two bedrooms sleep 4 with a double and two singles, and there is a sofa bed for 2 more guests downstairs. Mod cons include TV, playstation and free wi-fi in the lounge, and cooker, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer in the kitchen.

Garden / Grounds:
We have a small slice of the Island in the form of our large back garden, with fruit trees and a great view of the downs.

Views, wildlife and local environment:
The cottage is situated in a rural location with a shop, two pubs and a wine merchants, and close to four sandy beaches. It is surrounded by many pleasant country walks and the quiet seaside villages. And yet it is only a short hop in a car to the town of Ryde, with its shops, restaurants and nightlife.
