The house, with it's four thousand acre estate, stands upon the west coast of Craignish Peninsula - A ten mile promontory stretching out into the islands of the Inner Hebrides

Lunga is a fine old Scottish country house (originally a 16th century Tower House), castellated, turreted, set on green lawns amidst tangled woodland. It looks out upon the sea: the waters of the Firth of Lorne and the Sound of Jura are just five hundred metres away. With 4000 acres to explore the possibilities are endless. Some parts are wild and unkempt, others neatly mown. There are places for games, and plenty of garden furniture. Loch and sea fishing, boating, archery, badminton and croquet are all available.

Views, wildlife and local environment:
Lunga looks out over the sea. The waters of the Firth of Lorne and the Sound of Jura are just five hundred metres away. The country here is some of the most beautiful and least discovered in all Scotland. Seals, sea birds, and you may even see eagles and otters. There really is a great diversity of flora / fauna.
