Brackenedge Country House

Brackenedge is situated in the village of Danby, 15 miles from Whitby within easy walking distance of a Village Inn and Bakery. Further shops & pubs are nearby.

New for Spring 2009 - Brackenedge is a spacious detached holiday home, sleeping 8-11 people. There are two open fires, a large garden, ample parking, and plenty of room for relaxing. The dining room seats up to 12, with open fire, wall-mounted Sky TV, radio/IPod docking station, broadband connection. The house has a fully equipped galley kitchen with double oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher; door out to garden and patio area. There are two sitting rooms both equipped with Sky and DVD players, and one of these rooms has a sofa bed and can be used as a further bedroom. On the ground floor there is a family bathroom with a bath and electric shower cubicle and separate WC; Bedroom 1 with king size double bed and single chair bed; views out to rear garden. On the first floor there are 3 further bedrooms; Bedroom 2 with king-size double bed, en-suite electric shower and WC, views out to rear garden and moorland. Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Access to Jack and Jill electric shower and WC. Bedroom 4 with bunk bed, ensuite wc.

SPECIAL OFFER:

Garden / Grounds:
There is a long lawned, private garden to the rear of the house and a patio area with dining furniture and gas barbecue. To front of house; there is a garden, single garage and roadside parking.

Views, wildlife and local environment:
Brackenedge is in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. There are stunning views from both the front and rear of the property across the valley. There are many walks in the vicinity with information provided at Danby Lodge visitor centre located down the road.
