Delightful, award winning cottage set in glorious Dorset countryside. Located on an organic working family farm in an area of outstanding beauty characterised by it's pretty thatched villages.
Originally a traditional l8th Century farm building. Now a holiday cottage of considerable character. The entrance hall leads to a galleried beamed lounge, and an attractive kitchen is well planned with oak units, hob and separate oven. Ground floor twin bedroom with beamed ceiling, together with bathroom, with bath, WC and overbath shower. Upstairs to galleried landing, magnificent spacious twin bedroom, soft colour schemes and matching curtains and duvets.
Garden / Grounds: There is a pretty, paved private garden from where you can watch the comings and goings on the farm. The farm is of course everyone's garden to enjoy, with masses of animals to meet and potter about with.
Views, wildlife and local environment: The farm straddles a small hill between the Cranborne Chase and the Blackmore Vale. The views from the farm are truly spectacular and surely amongst the finest in the county. Nature lover's paradise. 70 species of birds, deer, foxes, pheasants and buzzards often visible, and there are resident badgers.
