Doonbank Cottage is ideally located as a self catering holiday cottage, being just 1 mile easy walk from the stunning Ayrshire coastline with its sandy beaches

Doonbank Cottage is ideally located as a self catering holiday cottage, being just 1 mile easy walk from the stunning Ayrshire coastline with its sandy beaches and a short stroll from the Burns Monument, Burns Cottage, Alloway Kirk, and the world-famous Brig O'Doon, inspiration for Robert Burns' poem 'Tam O'Shanter'.The immediate area is famous for its superb sporting facilities, including the championship golf courses of Turnberry and Royal Troon. Sailing, game and sea-fishing are all locally available. The area contains many castles and country parks, and it is only a short trip from the coast to the islands of Ailsa Craig, Arran and Cumbrae.
