Scotland: Mull, Iona, Coll, Tiree, Lorn and Oban: Lochdon

Lochdon is a small hamlet built around the head of a sea loch. beautiful views and an abundance of wildlife and birds. Very peaceful, quiet and relaxing.

Eastcroft is a traditional crofter's cottage built in 1858 and still in same family ownership. It is situated in the small peaceful community of Lochdon that is built around the shores of a sea loch. The views from the cottage are beautiful and it is a very relaxing place to be, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. There are no traffic jams and no crowds just peace and quiet. There is an abundance of wildlife to be seen and many different varieties of birds to observe, the most famous being the sea eagles, which are often sighted over the loch. The lounge is cosy with an open fire which heats the radiators and hot water, there are electric heaters in all rooms and an immersion heater for hot water, in case you do not want to light the fire. There is a large television with digital box and video, a hi-fi with varied cd's and an assortment of books for rainy days. The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave various small appliances and a small tv with digital box. There is aslo a dining table and chairs for four people. The bathroom is modern with toilet, basin and a bath with shower over. The loft bedroom is accessed from a stairway in the hall and contains a double and 2 single beds. Three large velux windows let in plenty of light and are fitted with blackout blinds. Only 3 miles from the ferry terminal at Craignure, Lochdon is in a central position for exploring Mull.

Garden / Grounds:
The cottage has a large garden approx 1 acre, it is fully fenced. It is not a cultivated garden and there are many species of wild flowers growing, including wild orchids.

Views, wildlife and local environment:
The views from the cottage are beautiful and change with the seasons. There is an abundance of wildlife and many species of birds to be seen, the most famous being the sea eagles. Mull has something for everyone, birdwatchers, fishermen, walkers or just people who want to relax and enjoy the tranquillity that this magical island offers
