Nestled in the heart of a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the cottage is located at the bottom of the magical Fairy Hill and by the coast.

Whether you visit the Isle of Islay for its beautiful landscape, famous whisky, nature, magical legends or remoteness, Fairy Hill Cottage is the perfect place to enjoy all of them! It is the Magic at the End of the Whisky Trail.Fairy Hill Cottage is a secluded cottage waiting for you at the end of the Whisky trail past Laphroaig, Lagavulin and finally Ardbeg, on the Scottish Hebridean Isle of Islay.Fairy Hill Cottage is so named because it is located at the bottom of the magical Fairy Hill where in legend the Queen of the Fairies resides. This secluded cottage is in a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is surrounded by Wildlife. The cottage is all on one floor and sleeps up to six. Fairy Hill Cottage has two double bedrooms, a fold out double couch in the sitting room, traditional open fireplace, a bathroom, and a kitchen with dining area.Local logs (cut from only dead, fallen trees) will be provided for the fire.The cottage has a large front and back garden which opens out to views of mountains, woodland and farmland and is only a short walk from the sea. The kitchen has an electric cooker with grill, fridge, sink, stove kettle and utensils for cooking. The dining table can seat six people. There is a colour TV with satellite channels. The bathroom is fitted with a bath, sink and toilet. All electricity, linens and towels are provided including complimentary toiletries, milk, tea and coffee.Available for weekly lets, Saturday till Saturday with a minimum of one week's booking.

This secluded cottage is in a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is surrounded by wildlife such as red and fallow deer. The back garden opens out to views of mountains, and the front garden onto woodland and farmland. The cottage is only a short walk from beaches and the famous Kildalton Celtic cross.
