Thatched Cottage on Village Green

Our Irish Vacation cottages are located in the beautiful village of Puckane in County Tipperary. The village typifies rural Ireland with our twelve holiday cottages located right in the centre of the village, set around a charming village green. Next to the cottages is Kennedys the traditional village pub, a well stocked village store and the village Tennis Club. Puckane is within minutes of the shores of Lough Derg, Ireland's largest pleasure lake and one of it’s most visited attractions. Lough Derg offers the visitor every kind of water sport, great fishing, exhilarating walking routes and beautiful forest parks. Puckane is also a stone's throw away from many beautiful places such as Dromineer and Garrykennedy. Nenagh town is a short distance away with its Castle, Heritage Centre, market and varied selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. In only a one hour drive you are in the bustling city of Limerick, the capital of the Shannon region and Irelands capital Dublin is only two hours drive away. Puckane is also a great base for your golf or horse racing holidays. Within easy reach there are 8 golf courses and 4 top class race courses. Our holiday cottages are either 2 or 3 bedroom, sleeping either 4 or 6 people. Most of the cottages are thatched and all are built in the traditional Irish style with log burning fires. All the cottages have been recently refurbished and now benefit from fitted bathrooms and kitchens. We are proud to own all our property ourselves meaning we can offer that personal touch which is so hard to find and we can share with you an intimate knowledge of Puckane and the surrounding area. Our cottages have proven to be consistently popular through the years with visitors from around the world. "Singing in the Rain" star Gene Kelly was a visitor hin the 1970's while Celtic rock legends Horslips used the cottages to write and rehearse.
