In the heart of a quiet village near Brecon, within walking distance to 2 pubs and shop. Access to the River Usk (fishing rights) at the end of the garden.

4* holiday house with fishing rights, sleeping up to 5 people in 3 bedrooms - 1 double and 1 twin room are on the first floor. There is another single room and shower room on the ground floor, making River Bridge House an excellent choice for people with limited mobility. Our cottages are dog-friendly and pets are very welcome. The next-door "River Bridge View" (2 bedrooms for 4 people) can also be booked to create larger accommodation for up to 9 people. The entrance hall leads into the cosy lounge / dining room. There are comfortable sofas, log fire, flat-screen television with SKY, plus books and toys for our younger guests. There is also an attractive dining table and chairs. The lounge opens out into an attractive conservatory from where you can gaze at the beautiful views of the River Usk. If you want a self-catering holiday cottage with fishing rights, then look no further! The properties benefit from two thirds of a mile of single bank Trout and Salmon fishing at the end of the gardens and rods can be hired. We are also pet / dog friendly.

Garden / Grounds:
The pretty garden (somewhat steep - families with young children please take note!) has several lawned areas and stone patios. The steps through the middle lead right down to the public riverside footpath.

Views, wildlife and local environment:
Lovely views of the 16th Century bridge at Llangynidr and of the River Usk. The village is very peaceful and there are views of mountains and countryside all around.
