A 17-acre estate nestling in idyllic countryside close to the wilds of Dartmoor and the Devon and Cornwall borders near Tavistock.

Sherrill Farm Holiday Cottages is a complex of 12 delightful self-catering cottages and a large farmhouse. The properties vary in size sleeping from 2 to 22 people. All have been tastefully converted from the original 300-year old barns and farmhouse set within 17-acres of wonderful Devon countryside. The cottages are mainly clustered around the central courtyard and retain many architectural features. They are charmingly furnished, decorated, and well-equipped with facilities ranging from dishwashers and washing machines to Wi-Fi and wide-screen TVs. Sherrill Farm is a terrific place for families. Nestling in wonderful rolling countryside on the edge of Dartmoor, it is midway between Tavistock and Launceston on the Devon and Cornwall border. Approached by private driveway and set in unspoilt Devon countryside, Sherrill Farm is the perfect place in which to relax and unwind. The facilities on the farm estate include a magnificent indoor heated swimming pool, games barn, children's play area, sauna, gym, Jacuzzi, fishing lakes and tennis court. There is also a picnic area and summerhouse along the banks of the ponds, a beautiful area offering peace and tranquillity. Sherrill Farm is also perfectly situated for exploring North and South Devon and Cornwall.

Garden / Grounds:
The grounds are largely lawns linked by small pathways. There are two fenced-off well-stocked fishing lakes ideal for picnics as well as some rewarding angling.

Views, wildlife and local environment:
In July 2006 The Tamar Valley was designated as part of a World Heritage Site. From Sherrill Farm there are some glorious rural views across the Tamar into Cornwall. In spring and summer the hedgerows are full of flowers. Within easy reach of Dartmoor's rugged scenery or quiet valleys.
