Two log lodges sit on an elevated site overlooking Loch Sunart outside Strontian
Strontian Holiday Lodges offer Highland self catering, in two Log Lodges "Mingulay & Jura". Mingulay sleeps five Jura sleeps four but also has a sofa bed in the living area. The houses have a large living area with comfortable furnishings in a style that compliments the logs, the adjacent kitchen is well equipped for your stay. The bathroom has a white suite and shower over bath and heated towel rail.
Garden / Grounds:
The houses are part of an area known as Seaview Grazings, a 12 acre lightly wooded hillside overlooking Loch Sunart. The houses are acessed by a private road that passes shrubs, grassy banks and ancient trees, perfect peace....
Views, wildlife and local environment:
Enjoy spectacular views of Loch Sunart and surrounding mountains, and if you are lucky one of the resident deer, pinemartin or the rare and illusive wildcat seen by many visitors from your window. Strontian is a quiet village but with all the amenities you will need, with many woodland walks and surrounded by spectacular views of glen, mountain, and river.
