The Loft, Chywoonefarm

England: South West: Cornwall: St Keverne

One of three barn conversions located in the charming grounds of an old farmhouse. Less than a mile from the village. An ideal location for exploring the Lizard pensinsula.

The Loft is a spacious light, one double bedroomed, first floor barn conversion. Accessed through the carport where you park your car. The entrance reveals carpeted stairs leading to a landing where the double bedroom, open plan kitchen lounge diner and modern bathroom with shower are to be found. The unit, with wooden laninate floors and exposed timeber beams throughout has central heating. The fitted kitchen area has wooden worksurface, an electric hob and oven, microwave and fridge. The lounge diner is tastefully furnished with two large settees and coffee table and has a tv/dvd player. Located at the bottom of an unmade lane and surrounded by fields the site is reputed to have once been the location fo a medieval settlement. It is the perfect place for couples to relax or explore the lovely Lizard peninsula with its ancient moorland and rugged coastline. The coastal path is only a short walk away and there are an abundance of villages offering good pubs and restaurants within a short drive.

Garden / Grounds:
The grounds of Chywoone Farm, which extend to about an acre and a half, truly is a unique tranquil oasis. The owner has several years experience of welcoming holiday guests and invites you to enjoy the garden and old orchard.

Views, wildlife and local environment:
Walks in the area offer stunning scenery, particularly the many harbours and fishing villages. Several beaches are within a short driving distance. St Keverne offers two pubs, an organic restaurant, grocers, newsagent and Post Office. Beautiful gardens such as Bonitho, Trevarno, Trebah and Glendurgan to name but a few that are all worth a visit.
