Located in scenic Glencoe, on the outskirts of Glenduror forest with numerous tracks for mountain biking, walking and climbing

The Stable Bothy & Shepherd's Bothy sit at the edge of 30 acres of farmland which backs onto the Duror Forest. This fantastic newly renovated semi-detached Bothy conversion has been lovingly restored with beautiful, all new, fixtures and fittings. The thick original stone walls and the high ceiling in the main living area has allowed a mezzanine floor to be incorporated. This area forms a second sleeping area.The main living area is open plan and includes the lounge, kitchen and dining area. The lounge has a large comfy corner sofa, wall mounted TV and a wonderful multi-fuel stove. The Bothies are heated by underfloor heating, with tiled floors throughout the ground floor. Ground level also has a double bedroom and a bright all tiled bathroom.Each Bothy is great for a family of 5 and could be booked together with the other Bothy next door to give accommodation for up to 10. The two self catering holiday cottages each consist of a double bedded room, plus a mezzanine sleeping area for a further three or four in each. Two of the single beds in each Mezzanine area can be zip linked to be king sized doubles.We grow different varieties of willows for basket making and at the end of 2010 we planted a small native woodland. Any surplus produce eg. eggs, lamb, fruit, veg, potatoes or willows can be purchased by visitors. You and your children can help with any of these activities in collecting this produce.

Garden / Grounds:
The Bothies have shared use of the large gravel courtyard, where there is outdoor seating and the use of a gas BBQ. This area is fully enclosed and there is plenty of room for parking.

Views, wildlife and local environment:
This is a fantastic location to explore Glencoe. For cycling families there is a safe Sustrans cycle track route from Glencoe to Oban. The Stable Bothy & Shepherd's Bothy are near the forest where you can enjoy watching wildlife. Outdoor enthusiasts are drawn here for the many opportunities offered by the Nevis Range and the Glencoe Mountain Range.
