The Stables Holiday Cottage

Situated right on the coastal path in a very tranquil hamlet overlooking Lamorna Cove and accessed via a stone farm track, The stables makes for the perfect holiday retreat.

The Stables was at it's name suggests, a former stable block incorporated into a working dairy farm until production stopped in the mid 1990's. Now totally converted into a beautiful smallholding holiday retreat, gaining sea and rural views spanning Mounts Bay from Lamorna Cove to the tip of the Lizard peninsula. Inside, the non smoking cottage sleeps 4 and has a lovely open plan living dining room with real log burner and open A-framed beams and exposed granite walls. A good sized well equipped galley kitchen, two bedrooms (one double & one twin) and modern bathroom. Lounge: Beautifully decorated light and airy room with exposed granite wall and exposed A-framed timber beams. Pine timber floorboards and cosy deep pile Indian rug. Quality leather suite with cushions and throws. Panasonic TV with freeview channels and DVD player. Stereo / CD player. Real cast iron log burner inset in a solid granite inglenook style fireplace. Bookcase with extensive selection of DVD's, music CD's, books and games. Centre spot lights and intimate side lighting and many quality wall hung paintings and framed photographs. Views over courtyard towards the sea. Dining area: Beautiful antique mahogany dining table and four chairs. Real rubber plant with Italian clay pot. Wall hung painting.
