Cygnet Lodge is available to rent all year round, whether for a short break, a week’s holiday or a long winter let. The advertised prices are per week. Standard bookings start and end on a Friday or Monday. Other arrival/departure days may be available at our discretion. We also offer short breaks - weekend 3 nights (arrive Friday) or mid-week 4 nights (arrive Monday). Prices for these standard short breaks are charged at 75% of the weekly rate. Weekend 2 night breaks are available from £340 at some times of the year. Bank holiday breaks are offered with alternative start/end days and lengths of stay. Long winter lets (minimum 1 month) are available from November to March. Please contact us for rates.
Prices include bed linen and towels, together with the use of all the facilities around the lake. The cottage will be prepared and all beds made up for your arrival. If you require extra changeovers when staying longer than one week, please let us know and we shall be pleased to arrange this for you. We provide a welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits and milk.
A 30% deposit is payable on booking with the balance of 70% due 6 weeks before arrival. A refundable security charge of £200 is also payable in advance. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer, or by credit card with PayPal (2% fee payable).
The cottage is available after 3.00 pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated before 10.00 am on the day of departure. Sorry, no pets are allowed and smoking is only permitted outside. No vans, commercial vehicles or camper vans to be parked on the resort overnight or at weekends. We are unable to take stag or hen party bookings. Short breaks are available by arrangement.
